HarvestX, Inc. was awarded the Runner-up Grand Prix in the main program Design & Innovation Award at the Industry Co-Creation (ICC) Summit KYOTO 2023, held in Kyoto from September 4 to 7, 2023.
ICC Summit is a business conference based on the concept of “Learning together, creating industries together”. More than 400 top leaders (managers, executives, and professionals) active on the front lines take the stage to exchange high-quality opinions on industry trends and management over the course of three days. Many of the approximately 1,000 attendees come from Tokyo, making this an extreme conference for a serious discussion and learning from morning to night.
In the “Design & Innovation Award,” one of the major programs of the event held on September 7, judges visited and experienced the booths of 11 companies with products and services full of design and innovation, and voted based on innovation, empathy, craftsmanship (artisan), marketability (business impact), and social responsibility (sustainability).
HarvestX exhibited and introduced its mainstay business, a high-precision pollination robot system that replaces bees. HarvestX won the Runner-up Grand Prix for its appeal of features such as “hygienic and stable fruit production,” “reduced dependence on natural pollinators susceptible to weather and disease,” and “increased yield and factory quality through accurate pollination program control,” which were highly evaluated.
HarvestX will continue to develop more precise plant factory automation solutions using robots.
