Yuki Ichikawa is the president of HarvestX Inc. Yuki graduated Faculty of Information and Computer Science, Chiba Institute of Technology in 2020. While Yuki was in university, he engaged in embedded devices for agriculture and FA design for plant factories. Through his experiences, Yuki recognized problems and possibilities of plant factories and launched HarvestX project. Yuki was certified as a "Mito super creator" for his project.
Shoki Hattori is mainly in charge of hardware at HarvestX. Shoki belongs to the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the University of Tokyo and engages in product development at SonyCSL as a research assistant. Shoki has been developing robots for ten years since he was a technical college student, participating in contests in Japan and abroad.
Aoi Watanabe is mainly in charge of software at HarvestX. Aoi belongs to the Department of Materials Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Before entering UTokyo, Aoi studied mechanical and electrical engineering at National Institute Technology, Tokuyama College and received the Hatakeyama Prize from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers upon graduation.
Takaharu Suzuki is in charge of design and communication at HarvestX. Takaharu belongs to Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, The University of Tokyo. His research field is innovations led by design. Takaharu works at SonyCSL as a research assistant as well.
